Passed away peacefully Sunday, July 18, 2010, age 84. Proud father of Howard (Crystal). Brother of Lucille (Norm) Akin. Fond grandfather of Nick (Samantha) and Nora (Tim) Verhagen. Great grandfather of Anna and Emily. Also loved by other relatives and friends in Arizona, Nevada, Florida and Venezuela.
Bert was a long time salesman who reached prominance in his day in his trade and industry and is still friends with those people. He was married to Dolores Meister, Alice Euhl and Eydie Bolling, each marriage lasting many years. To his credit, he never failed to support the ones he loved throughout these marriages and to his son and family. Bert resided at Wildwood Highlands, Menomonee Falls, where he had many friends.
Visitation at the Funeral Home Tuesday, July 27, fron 4-7 PM. Funeral Service at Emmanuel Community United Methodist Church, N84 W16707 Menomonee Avenue, Menomonee Falls, Wednesday, July 28 at 10:30 AM. Entombment to follow at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
