A serene, quiet park – you can hear the sound of the waves – with panoramic views of Milwaukee and Lake Michigan, and trails that can be used year-round.
3950 N Lake Dr., Shorewood
Just north of the city, this little escape boasts a series of trails leading to the lake, and is a perfect spot for birdwatching. It’s easy to drive right by the entrance, so keep an eye out for the sign.
9900 River Rd., Brookfield
Enjoy more than 400 acres featuring trails, paths and piers, perfect for nature enthusiasts or those looking to escape the city’s hustle and bustle.
