Your Comfort, Our Priority: A Look at Our Locations

Krause Funeral Homes has been part of the Milwaukee landscape for generations, and though we have watched our great city grow and change over the years, our reputation for dignified service and professionalism has remained the same. Our team understands what area families want when they come to us with their funeral and cremation needs. We also understand how to incorporate into a farewell the different beliefs, cultures, and traditions that make Milwaukee families so wonderfully diverse.

We have found that one of the greatest needs for a grieving family is comfort. It can make all the difference when they walk into one of our funeral homes and immediately feel welcomed by our staff as well as the lighting, décor, and amenities we provide. This is why we put immense thought into designing our four Milwaukee-area locations, and why we continue to look for ways to improve every day.

Whether you’re interested in preplanning your own arrangements or need to utilize our funeral or cremation services for a friend or family member, here is what you need to know about our four locations in Milwaukee County:

Capitol Drive location. Our flagship funeral home, located at 90th and Capitol Drive, opened back in 1958. Milwaukee – and this building – looked a little different back then, but this updated space continues to radiate warmth and serenity to every family who walks in the doors. The formal chapel provides seating for 140 people, with additional seating available. We have a spacious parking lot, and our visitation rooms are peaceful and intimate, but can expand to accommodate larger groups. This location is also home to one of our crematories, so you know your loved one never leaves our care.

Brown Deer Road location. We opened our second facility in 1976, conveniently located near the corner of 76th and Brown Deer Road. Here, we offer a formal chapel with seating for 120 guests, and additional space is available. Our intimate visitation rooms expand to accommodate larger groups. We also have a beautiful banquet hall with seating for 80 guests and a wine and beer service bar that’s sure to add a special touch to funeral receptions.

New Berlin location. Our National Avenue facility opened in 1993 and was completely redecorated in 2014. With acres of parking and a formal chapel that can seat 160 people, this location can accommodate groups of all sizes. We also offer tranquil, intimate visitation rooms that expand for larger groups. A stunning banquet hall seats 80, and for those looking for a more casual or intimate setting, there’s also a cafe with seating for 30 people.

Brookfield location. This is our newest facility, opened in 2013. In addition to a formal chapel that can comfortably seat 180 people, we have beautiful visitation rooms suitable for large and small groups. Our cremation selection room has a display of urns so you can see and touch all of the options, while our second on-site crematory and Cremation with Confidence™ Guarantee provides complete peace of mind.

Regardless of the location you choose, the staff at Krause Funeral Homes will give you our full care and attention. You can leave all the details to us so you can focus on what matters most: the people you love.
