Mike was truly one of a kind. I knew him through fireworks and looked forward to seeing him every year. He always had a smile on his face and a fun story to tell about fireworks. Ever year at the farm show he had a something special to share!!! Just like pyro Ted and Tom!!! I'd like to think that Mike and my Dad, Joe Maz, will watch over our crew and keep us safe.

You don't know me but we have one thing in common. My sister Marianne passed away from covid in February. I want to send my condolences to you because I know what an empty feeling is left to those of us who are still here. God bless.

It was very sad to hear of Mike's passing. I am one of Mike's pyrotechnic friends. Mike, Pyro Ted and me enjoyed many fun and exciting hours together doing professional fireworks displays. One of our favorite shows, known as The Farm Show, was most fun since Mike and I were able to display our own aerial shells. Mike made some very beautiful and sometimes surprising shells. He truly will be missed by Ted and me.
