Passed away on May 11, 2021, due to complications of Covid-19. He was 58 years old. Loving husband of Inga and devoted father of Josh. Beloved son of Rose and the late George Mioduszewski. Dear brother of Lynn (Jeff) Carter. Fond uncle of Jonathan (Samantha), Andrew, Matthew, Sarah Krumree, and great-uncle of Elijah and Dominic Krumree. Dear nephew of Virginia “Peewee” Nowak, Suzie Kowalic, and Chris Christianson. Also will be missed by Pyro Ted, John Krumree, all the “Holland Jokesters”, many other family members and friends.
As a young boy, Mike began his love of aviation, starting with the Space Program. He began his life-long hobby of model-building, especially of airplanes and space rockets. He was so proud of having one of his models displayed in the Billy Mitchell Museum within the airport. He passed on the love of aviation to his son Josh who has taken flying lessons with hopes of one day becoming a commercial pilot. Mike was very proud of his son’s scholastic skills and getting on the Dean’s list this year at UWM.
Another of Mike’s loves was the fascination with fireworks. It started with little M-80s as a boy, much to his parents’ dismay; he progressed to cherry bombs and then to pyro-technic pro. He created his own shells and displayed his skills at the 4th of July celebrations up north at various Pyro-Events.
He was a skilled body-repair man, painter, and enjoyed working on cars in his spare time. He drove big semis for over 25 years, working long hours to provide for his family. He never lost his love of Labrador Retrievers, always choosing one for a devoted companion.
Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin, on Sunday, May 16, 2021, from 11:00 AM – 2:45 PM. Funeral service at 3:00 PM.
