Faith Elaine Rhodes (nee Christopherson)
Age 90, Born December 26, 1930, in Beloit, Wisconsin. Wife of the late Lyle Burton Rhodes for 63 years.

Preceded in death by parents: Warner and Edna Bessie Christopherson and “Step Mom” Edna Mary Christopherson.

She will be dearly missed by brother Dale Christopherson (Virginia), nephews James, David (Julie), Jeffrey (Indu), and Steven (Maria) Christopherson. “Great” nephews-Ryan, Tyler, Matthew, Andrew, and Peter Christopherson and “Great” nieces-Rachel, Elizabeth, and Katherine Christopherson. Great, Great nephew Alexander Christopherson and great, great niece Willow Christopherson. Special “mom” to Kenneth Atkinson. Adopted niece Gail Anderson. Further survived by other relatives and many dear friends.

Upon graduation from high school and college, she was employed at The Medical Society of Milwaukee County, Miller Brewing Company, and Reliable Paper Company. She loved singing, music, gardening, and volunteering, especially for the elderly. Faith sang with The Milwaukee Choristers for 47 years, was a member of Wauwatosa Presbyterian Church, and volunteered for the Elmbrook Senior Center for 14 years. In 1998, she was awarded the Beverley Sisson Senior Citizen Community Service Award in Waukesha County for her exemplary volunteer service. Travel was another love of hers which she shared with her husband, Lyle.

Visitation at Wauwatosa Presbyterian Church, 2366 North 80th Street, Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, 53213 on Saturday, August 7, 2021, from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM. Memorial service to begin at 12:00 PM. At the conclusion of service, please join the family at Alioto’s for a luncheon. Interment will take place for Faith and Lyle at Pacific Cemetery in Portage, Wisconsin.

In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate memorials to the Milwaukee Choristers or Wauwatosa Presbyterian Church.
