Passed away peacefully, Thursday September 7, 2017 at Cedar Bay West, West Bend, Wisconsin formerly of Milwaukee at the age 97. Preceded in death by her loving husband Edward, her son Bob (Jane) and daughter-in-law Marge. Loving mother of Neil, and Marvin (Elana), and daughter-in-law Pat. Dear sister of Bob (Shirley) Janke. Proud grandma and great-grandma. Also loved by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A special thank you to the staff at Cedar Bay West and Cedar Hospice for their loving Care. In lieu of flowers memorials to JDRF, Cedar Community or Immanuel United Church of Christ would be appreciated.

I'm so sorry for your loss. May you find comfort from your memories, as well as the comfort found in God’s word the bible. In the face of such tragedy, many wonder why God allows such suffering. In the bible, Romans 5:12 says, "That is why, just as through one man (Adam) sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because they had all sinned." How loving of God to promise what is found at Revelation 21:4 which says, “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

This lovely lady was my neighbor when I was growing up in Milwaukee on Roosevelt Drive. She was a big part of my growing up years. Later, after I married, she would occasionally stop in for a visit in Germantown. Thanks for the memories Loraine...you'll be remembered.
