I remember the day Cheri was born, the day she broke the tie between 6 brothers and 6 sisters. We used to sing nd harmonize mostly songs to our Blessed Mother. At the end, as II held her hand, I sang a few of those songs for her. I know that she is now she s a full time member inn the choir angels. I miss her. I love her. May she rest peacefully in His tender mercy

When my family would visit Milwaukee I remember the get-to-gethers that would normally take place at 1572 s 23rd , mostly on a Sunday morn, Aunt Cheri was usually there to share her stories her laughter and her smile. I remember that she really "got" my somewhat dry wit when maybe others did not. That made me feel good. Aunt Cheri was always kind and generous.

I got a kick out of Cheri’s hobby collecting business cards I would save for her when visiting with her hubby Glenn. Glenn and I go way back working at Kearney & Trecker becoming close buds. Seems not that long ago and then again it sure does! Well, when I would gather the business cards for Cheri, I found them interesting too as some are quite remarkable that otherwise wouldn’t be noticed. I’m sad to say I have another bundle I was saving for Cheri. My sincere sympathies to Glenn & family.

I have many fond childhood memories of aunt Cheri. She was the only one of all my aunts and uncles that was young enough for me to remember her graduating from high school in 1963, so she seemed more like a cousin than an aunt. Even in my adult years she called me “Johnny”, instead of John. I always think of her when I hear a Connie Francis song on my oldies playlist.
