Preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert Birno, parents, Albert and Minnie (nee Stauber) Gallenberg, siblings, Edna Gallenberg, Evelyn (William) Zingg, Arthur (Martha) Gallenberg, Anton Gallenberg, Clara (Jack) Kryka, Joseph (Mary) Gallenberg and Robert Gallenberg.
Angie lived on a farm near Antigo. While growing up, she attended Neff Switch School in Langlade County and helped out on the family farm. At the age of 14, she left home to babysit her niece and nephew. She then worked at John Oster Company in Milwaukee. She married her husband, Wilbert E. Birno “Whitey” or “Tick” on October 7, 1950 and became a stay at home mom.
She enjoyed dancing, gardening, baking, sewing, playing cards and woodworking projects. She loved being with family and friends, and didn’t want to miss out on any celebration that occurred. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be held at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin 53072, Sunday, November 14, 2021, 2:00 PM – 4:45 PM. Celebration of Life at 5:00 PM. Burial will be held privately at Wood National Cemetery.
