Ann Agrusa, age 75, was taken home to heaven on January 30, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents Peter and Josephine (nee DiTrapani) Agrusa, her sister, Mary, and brother, James. She is survived by her sisters Angeline and Ruth Agrusa, uncle Joseph Baudino, many cousins, extended family, and friends.
Ann lived her entire life in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She graduated from Lincoln High School. After graduation, she went to work for Payne and Dolan. She retired from there after 54 years of loyal and excellent service and ended her career there as the Executive Assistant to the Chairman of the company.
Ann was very active in her church and the community. She was a Sunday School Teacher and Pianist for Christian Congregation Church and Poplar Creek Church for many years. She also volunteered for Festa Italiana, First Neighborhood Credit Union, Milwaukee Airport Meditation Room, ProBuColls Association, and other community organizations for many years. She was always willing to help whenever needed.
She was known for her delicious Italian specialties and gracious entertaining at her home. Ann was a friend to everyone she met. One of her unknown talents was the talent of “perfect pitch.” She could tell what key any song was played in just by listening. She played the accordion and taught herself to play the piano by ear. Ann will be greatly missed by many family and friends.
