Kris I am sorry that this is coming so late since Tony`s passing but I have been out of the aviation circle for some time now. Tony was awesome to hang out with giving me rides in the 51 and remembering his jet that he had for a short time. He needed hanger space so he kept the cub in my hanger for a while. You and Tony borrowed my Bonanza to go to Florida and nobody flew my Bonanza except Tony I trusted him that much!! He is missed for sure. Kris please contact me I would love to talk. regards Tom

As a Luther College grad, Tony and I were roommates during our junior year. We enjoyed playing chess together and we were in the same fraternity. He was a class act and will be missed. I saw the notice in the Luther magazine yesterday and was saddened to read the notice.

KB & BB, You both are in my thoughts every single day. TB was such a fun and amazing human! He was the kindest and most caring man, generous with everything and everyone. I loved him so much and have some fond memories: -- Our Christmas tradition at the Buechler house, where we would all be in our bathrobes, drinking champagne and stuffing our faces with too much candy and cookies! And sometimes watching old old Christmas movies. -- TB took me for a ride in the warbird on my 50th birthday. I was terrified! -- Sometimes just hanging in your kitchen havng long conversations about everything under the sun. And, when we got loud, he would roll his eyes! Haha. -- TB understood your and my friendship so well. -- How he and I both loved, and knew the words!, to 'Fly Me To the Moon'! Your own memories will comfort you over time. I am always here for you, all the days of my life. I love you, TT

I am so sorry for your loss of such a wonderful man, husband, and father. He was my cousin, thru the large Buechler family, as my father was Ray's older (closest brother, Arthur L. of Boone, IA) We were close while they were in Iowa, and Tony and his Dad would always fly to Boone to see Grandma Esther. I enjoyed seeing pix of him and Jim B at the Oshkosh Air Show...I really enjoyed hearing about all of the fantastic things he has done. (Another great Buechler!!!) May God support you through this difficult time, as you will cherish so many wonderful memories. He will be with you always, as your guardian angel, and guiding you through your life. Sincerely, Barb Buechler Fosdick, San Diego, CA
