Arline Frances Davis (nee Prudlow) passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at age 93. Dear mother of John (Karen) Davis, Mary (Joseph) Farrell, and Suzanne (David) Davis Killen. Arline Frances Davis (nee Prudlow) passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at age 93. Dear mother of John (Karen) Davis, Mary (Joseph) Farrell, and Suzanne (David) Davis Killen. Proud grandma of Kelly Davis, Erin (Luke) Teigen, Matthew (Amanda) Davis, Katie Wigdahl, Michael (Meredith) Wigdahl, Claire Davis, and Evan Davis. Great-grandma of Lia, Evita, Bo, Audrey, Atticus, John, Vivian, Beatrice and Lucille. She will also be missed by her sisters Barbara (the late Reginald) Bishop and Roseanne Thieblin, and other relatives and friends.
Arline was preceded in death by her parents, Valentine and Vilaga Prudlow, sister Marjorie Haddock and former husband and friend Richard Davis.
As an armchair astrologer, she loved to counsel her family on what the stars foretold of their future. She was involved with Toastmistresses, Rosemary Bischoff Modeling, and her most beloved “Players,” a senior acting troupe that performed in the Milwaukee area for ten years. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus in St. Francis for many years and a member of the St. Veronica prayer group in Milwaukee in the last decade of her life.
We would like to thank staff and residents at Elizabeth Residence – Franklin for their compassionate care and friendship, especially Amanda, Daniel, and Jeremy, as well as the nurses at Harmony Cares Hospice – West Allis.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin on Friday, September 22, 2023 from 2:30 PM – 3:45 PM, with service to follow at 4:00 PM.

I met Arline through her sister, Barbara, when she stayed with her for a while back in Alexandria, VA. Arline was very dry humored and so witty! We loved gathering on Friday nights for lots of laughs, chats, appetizers, and, of course, wine! She was so fun! My deepest condolences to all of her beautiful family. God rest her soul.
