Arlo Davis Kristopeit, age 3, passed away after a 2 1/2 year battle with a rare childhood cancer called hepatoblastoma.
He is survived by parents Joshua and Suzanne, big brother Lennon, grandparents David and Trudy Kristopeit and James and Donna DeMark, and great-grandfather Richard Kristopeit. He is further survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and people touched by his story.
Arlo’s sweet nature and big brown eyes will be forever missed by those who knew him. He loved Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, PJ Masks, puzzles, and snuggles with his parents. A liver transplant recipient, Arlo was able to donate his corneas, allowing two people the gift of sight, as well as his tissue for the advancement of research.
Josh and Suzanne would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, and the nurses and staff at Seasons Hospice for their loving and compassionate care.
A Celebration of Arlo’s Life will be held in Racine on Friday, July 6, from 5-8PM at Pritchard Park in the Weiczorek Pavillion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the MACC Fund Center or Addie’s Hepatoblastoma Research, addiesresearch.org.
