Ashley M. Phillips entered the gates of eternal life on Saturday, October 3rd, 2020 at the young age of 30 from heart complications. Ashley was born on October 1st, 1990 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to parents Pamela M. Triplett and Joseph Phillips. Ashley accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age. Ashley graduated from Riverside high school in 2009. She furthered her education at Kaplan College and received her medical assistant certificate on June 5th, 2011. At the time of her death, Ashley was pursuing her degree in criminal justice. Ashley was always planning and laying a foundation that would provide a better path to care for her children whom she loved very much.
Ashley enjoyed listening to music, holidays, shopping, and dancing. But most of all she cherished the times with family and friends. Ashley was employed by the Meta House Foundation for many years. The foundation aids those suffering from substance abuse. At the time of her death, Ashley was also employed with G4s secure solutions within the payroll department.
Ashley leaves behind her beloved children Aaron Phillips, and K’amille Boden Phillips, and close friend Lorenzo Bolden.
Ashley was preceded in death by her mother Pamela M. Triplett, and grandparents Willie May and John W. Phillips, and cousin Damarico L. Leggett.
Ashley is survived by her father Joseph Phillips, Grandparents Philomena and Charles Cocroft, Sisters Tiffany Phillips, Kierra Phillips, Kelana Phillips, and Shannon Phillips. As well as Brothers Roscoe M. Phillips, Keiwaun Phillips, and Takory Phllips. Aunts Ana M. Cocroft, and Gerielle (Devarro) Raines. Uncle Kwami Barnes. Nieces Alyssa Cocroft and nephew Alexander Cocroft. And a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
