Beth Ann Huxsol (nee Gohr)

Entered into eternal life on Sunday, June 19, 2022, at the age of 70. Beloved wife of Jim Huxsol for 38 years. Cherished mother of Liz (Dave) Pond and Mike (Sam) Huxsol. Proud grandmother of Owen, Brady and Eleanor. Also loved by brother Tim Gohr, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Elaine Gohr.

Beth made the world a more beautiful place through her art and her love for her family. She was known for her smile and sense of humor and loved to share photos and stories of her children and grandchildren. She was also a talented artist who created beautiful watercolor and oil paintings and received regional and state awards for her artwork.

Beth had an artist’s spirit and an engineer’s mind. She graduated from UW-Whitewater with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry and further studied Applied Statistics at the Milwaukee School of Engineering. She retired from the Miller Brewing Company in 1994, after working as a Quality Engineer for 19 years. This was a special time in her life, as she met her husband Jim and several lifelong friends while working there.

Per her wishes, there will be no funeral services at this time, with a Celebration of Life to occur at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Beth’s name can be made to the Waukesha Creative Arts League and sent to her family for delivery.
