Passed away after a yearlong battle with cancer on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at the age of 51. Loving wife of Scott Newton for 17 years. Beloved and proud mom of Keira and Caleb. Dear daughter of Ronald and Ellen Klamerus. Sister of Michael (Karen) Klamerus, Ann (Steve) Scaglione, Janet (Matthew) Dixon, and Patrick Klamerus. Daughter-in-law of James and Karen Newton. Sister-in-law of Kirk Newton. She will also be missed by a host of many other family and friends.
Beth was a long-time employee of the City of Milwaukee where she worked for the public library for many years before working with the Milwaukee Fire Department for the last 14 years. She was a member of the bell choir at Mother of Good Counsel. In her free time, Beth enjoyed camping, reading, and doing puzzles. Through all things, her greatest joy was her children.
The family would like to extend a thank you to all those who offered meals, prayers, or comforting thoughts during the last year.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at Mother of Good Counsel Parish, 6924 West Lisbon Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.

Just a short note to let you know that you, Keira and Caleb are in my thoughts and prayers for Beth’s passing. I know she’ll be dearly missed by all of you. I hope the 17+ years of happier times will help get you through your sorrow.
I’m unable to attend Beth’s visitation and service, but I’ll be there in spirit, with prayers for all of you. The few times I’ve been able to meet Beth when she was in the office, I remember her being a gentle soul with an infectious smile and warm heart.
