Betty Jane Fuher (nee Uttke) died peacefully on September 19, 2023 at age 96. She was reunited with her late husband Lester Fuher. Betty was an aunt to our departed mother, Audrey (née Kuhagen), but my siblings and I commonly referred to her as “Aunt Betty”.
Throughout the years, Aunt Betty has remained in our lives, and we feel so very blessed because of that. We will greatly miss her, but she will always remain in our hearts.
She is pictured here with my husband Masaru. This is just one example of the joy she spread among us.

I'm sorry for your loss. I always enjoyed talking to "Aunt Betty" at the Meier family gatherings. It was amazing to me how she lived life to the fullest. She was also kind of a bridge to our mom's and grandma's family history.
