Of New Berlin, died Friday, July 29, 2011 in Greenbrae, CA. Born in Wausau, WI to Marie (nee Miskowiak) and Edward Lukas. Spouse of Loretta "Lorrie" (Nee Dombeck). Father of Lloyd of Lawrenceville, GA, Paul (Susan) Lukas of Toronto, Canada and Anne (Robert) Pitti of Fairfax, CA. Grandfather of Alex and Andy Lukas, Samantha "Sam" and Joe Pitti. Brother of LeeAnn Lukas. Survived by other relatives and friends.Visitation at HOLY APOSTLES CATHOLIC CHURCH, 16000 West National Avenue, Monday, August 8, 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 Noon. Burial at St. Florian's Cemetery in Hatley, WI.Cal served in the Army, 46th Military Police, CID, Army Reserves, active duty during the Cuban Missile Crisis. His entire career was in transportation/logistics, managing Edw. N. Lukas Motor Service, Badger Freightways, Inc., Foreway Express and retiring as president of Laser Services, Ltd. He was active in many professional transportation affiliates. Member of Knights of Columbus #524 and Bishop Henni #1196, St. Vincent de Paul Society, Past Chairperson on the Parish Council at Holy Apostles and Scoutmaster of the Boy Scouts. In lieu of flowers, memorials suggested to St. Vincent de Paul-Holy Apostles Conference.
