Carl was a one of a kind, supportive, caring, and wonderful friend. I first met Carl working at Briggs and Stratton and then was so lucky to be able to work with him again for 7 years at the bank. He always went out of his way to help others. Putting his own needs last. I was lucky to be able to have him as a friend to call outside of work. He always made me laugh with his goofy acronyms and quick wit comments. He melted stress away at work even though he stayed late and had a ton of deadlines while taking on others issues. What a guy. He will be missed. The good pass away young. He was beyond a good soul.

I worked with Carl at Briggs & Stratton when I first started there in 1984. Carl, Chris and I formed what was called the Internal Audit area, which included AV, audit and tours. Carl took me under his wing and showed me around. He was a great person to work with and a good teammate.
