Montoro, Carmen (Nee Pinero) Passed into Eternal Life Easter Sunday, April 12, 2009, at the age of 87. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Epifanio Montoro and son-in-law, Mel Banogon. Loving mother of Marilyn Banogon and Emmanuel (Asuncion) Montoro. Grandmother of Vincent and Hanna Montoro. Survived by sisters and brothers in the Couples for Christ, and many friends in Wisconsin and relatives and friends in the Philippines. Carmen retired from Grace Cocoa (Ambrosia Chocolate, now ADM), after 30 years of service. Carmen was the first woman Chemical Engineer in Manila, Philippines. She was also a former member of American Association of Chemical Engineers. Carmen was the founder and former President of the Philippine American Senior Association #8.
