Cheryl & Jim Peterson left a message on April 25, 2019:
We are sorry for your loss and thankful she went peacefully and without prolonged suffering. Just image the reunion in Heaven of seeing Patty and they are both healthy and happy. Also, I know my Mom, your Auntie Jo, will be in line to greet her, along with our Grandma and Grandpa Tupper, and a long list of her loved ones! But, we are left here to miss them until we are all reunited in Heaven. My first memories of your Mom/Grandma, is seeing her smiling when I could play with Patti in the apartment when we would visit Grandma, and the other is how I would gaze at the photos of this beautiful women as one of my Mom's bridesmaid in her and Dad's (Jo & Barry's) Wedding album. My last memory is seeing her at Aaron and Samantha's wedding and being touched at how happy she was to see me. The previous time must have been at my own Mom's funeral in 1999. I'm so grateful I was able to visit with her one last time. Dianne, I trust you will find great comfort that you cared for her so well and loving in her declining years, and gave her the tremendous joy of grandchildren and then your Dawn and Jason gave her great grandchild--those are life's greatest gifts. I'm thrilled that in the last 1 1/2 years, we were able to uncover some wonderful old pictures of your Mom & Dad, and we were able to enjoy them together. Now all who loved Aunt Carol and will miss her can see them as they say good-bye. Sending all our love!
