Carol Jean Miller passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at age 88. She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Miller, and her parents, Earl and Marie Herb. Carol will be missed by dear friends Jessie Holder and Leah Chapman who lovingly cared for her and were able to keep Carol in her own home.
Carol Miller won the all-events title at the 1967 USBC Women’s Championships and a doubles title in 1974. In addition, Carol captured 16 local association and 15 state championships to earn induction into the halls of fame of the Milwaukee Women’s Bowling Association and the Wisconsin WBA. She was able to travel and was coach for the Olympics team. Carol retired from Washington High School as Physical Education Teacher and coach.
