Carol Jean Szymanski (née Cone)
Born January 3, 1954 to Jim and Marion Cone passed away December 18th peacefully surrounded by her family. Carol and Joseph Szymanski were married 47 years ago and had two sons, Joe (Beth) and Rob as well as a granddaughter, Madeline. Carol and Joe enjoyed many summers camping and fishing with their two sons as a young family. Carol was blessed to play dolls create stories with her granddaughter Madeline. Faith was very important to Carol and she was a long-time member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Carol was very creative and spent many hours painting, making jewelry, and homemade cards for her family. Carol also loved animals and had several pets throughout her life including their dog, Max. She also enjoyed time with her sisters and extended family. She is preceded in death by her parents and is survived by eight siblings.
Visitation will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 9600 West Grange Avenue in Hales Corners on Thursday, December 23 at 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM. Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Burial at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove.
