Bethany P left a message on August 14, 2022:
I feel very blessed to have known Carol because it is certainly not easy for someone to leave an impression on me the way that she did. I met her six years ago, and in that time, I grew to become very fond of her. I had to earn her trust as I grew in confidence being a caregiver over several years, which was not an easy task, but well worth the wait. She showed me so many things that I did not see about myself as an aide until she started to reciprocate the effort I was giving to her. Since then, I try my best to be the best I can be for all of the residents I meet, and it goes a long way with them. I loved sitting with her either at breakfast or lunch so that I could catch her up on what was going on in my life or show her pictures on my phone of my latest crochet project. What I'll miss the most is checking to see if Carol & Doris are awake when I get into work, just so I can say good morning and fix up their hair before breakfast. She is already so dearly missed, but I have become a better CNA because of her and that brings me peace.
