(Nee Timm, formerly Ward) Child of God and sister in Christ was called to her Savior’s side on November 26, 2018. She passed peacefully with family at her side. Caroline was born to Walter and Anna Timm on March 24, 1929. Caroline served as a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She faithfully cared for her parents and two husbands during their journeys to heaven. She is remembered for her beautiful smile, her unwavering love and commitment to family, and her faith in Jesus Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Anna Timm, her brothers Walter Timm, Jr. and Edward Timm, her first husband Orville Ward, and her second husband James Parrent. She is survived by her sister Nancy Bentley, and children Kathleen (Gary) Wegel, Gerald Ward (fiancé Barbara Kelley), Rick (Debra) Parrent, and stepson Guy Parrent. Also survived by and blessed to have 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren, one of whom was born only 9 weeks ago and is also named Caroline.
She battled Alzheimer’s disease for over 15 years, yet through her dimmed mind, her kind spirit and loving heart were always evident. To know Caroline was to know LOVE, and that love came directly from her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, WI 53151, on Thursday, November 29, from 4:00 PM – 5:45 PM. Service at 6:00 PM. Caroline’s body will be laid to rest privately at Pinelawn Memorial Park to await her glorious resurrection on the Last Day. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Christian Church of your choice.
