My aunt had the ability to make you feel understood and accepted with just her kind look. She showed me the joy that comes from taking care of people and helping them make memories that last a lifetime. Not many people can make selflessness look so easy. She loved with her whole self and those of us lucky enough to receive it are very lucky.

We are so sorry for your loss. When this happens in our family we need more than human strength. God and his Son can provide what we need. Please review these scriptures : John 5:28-29 “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.” Revelation 21:4 “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.

My favorite memory with Grandma was when we would have tea parties with her tea sets. She would make lemonade and have mini fruit-flavored marshmallows. After that, we would go into the garden and just talk for a while. That was the best.

What I will remember most about Cathy is her wonderful warm and caring smile? The many Christmas’ I had the fortune to spend at her home we’re also filled with this warmth. And her caring seems to live on her children and grandchildren. Peace be with you Cathy
