Just thinking about Tracy's dad as being a nice dad and grandfather to all of his grandchildren and having the experience of getting to know him when we all got invited to some of the activities.

JoAnn, Rachel, Tracy, your families, and especially the grandchildren. Losing someone you love so deeply hurts so badly that you can hardly breath for awhile. Chuck was such an easy man to like. He always had interesting things to say. I especially remember good conversations at our grandkids softball games and at all the other events we attended to celebrate a grandchild's event. Chuck and I shared the same birthday. I was hoping to celebrate today, Dec. 12th, with him. As family, we sometimes arranged to get together to do just that. But, It wasn't to be, and today is very different and difficult because of that. The thing that comforts me is to know in my heart that he is now already born into a new life and that one day we will all see him again. That is the promise God gave us and I will trust in that and always celebrate my birthday with Chuck in mind. Until we meet again, Happy Birthday, Chuck. You will always be remembered and deeply loved by so very many family members and friends. You had lots of those!!!!

We are so sorry for your loss. When this happens in our family we need more than human strength. God and his Son can provide what we need. Please review these scriptures : John 5:28-29 “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.” Revelation 21:4 “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

He was my beloved brother. Loved and admired for his courage, strength, and determination. I remember so many things about this wonderful man. He was my best friend, my dearest buddy, and my competitor as a child and teenager and probably as an adult! I will forever miss this most courageous, and wonderful man.
