After a long battle with Lewy Body Dementia, Chuck passed away peacefully on January 21, 2021. Family was blessed to be by his side. Chuck is survived by wife, Lynn (Gellings) Vogt. Sons, Jeff (Karis) Vogt and Matt (Megan)Vogt. Daughter, Sarah (Evan) Ransome. Grandchildren, Evie, Connie and Weston Vogt. He is also survived by a wonderful extended family members and friends.
Before the progression of his dementia, Chuck was a rural carrier with the Waterford Postal Service, an active member of the Waterford Lions Club, a little league coach and a parish member of St. Thomas Aquinas.
Always the life of the party, Chuck truly enjoyed being involved with the community and spending time with family and friends.
The family extends its sincere gratitude for the extraordinary care and kindness demonstrated by his loving caregivers who protected his dignity and ensured his quality of life throughout his challenging journey the past 10+ years.
