(Nee Floyd)  Our beloved mother, Clara Myles, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 8, 2018, at the age of 70. She was a devoted wife of Leonard Myles for 50 years, a loving mother of Sheila, Twanda, Steed, Marva, and Leonard Jr. and a proud “granny” of 21 grandkids.

As a lifelong educator, Clara was passionate about helping people advance in life. She was a dedicated member of El Bethel Church under the leadership of Joel J Kinlow.

She enjoyed reading and traveling and making sure her family was taken care of.

She is further survived by two sisters Annie Bell Brown and Thelma Roach as well as two sister-in-laws Betty Floyd and Williette Wagoner and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.”

Visitation will be held at Holy Redeemer Church, 3500 West Mother Daniels Way, Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Monday, August 13, 2018, 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM. Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow at Graceland Cemetery.

Clara, I can’t believe I am having to write to you this way, I am just totally without words. You have been my very best friend for most of my adult life and your friendship has truly been a blessing to me. When your heart stopped, my heart just broke into little pieces, knowing that here on this Earth I will never have another friend like you… I smile when I think of you to keep from crying, because I know that you are in a better place and at peace.
