Sallie Chaney (niece) left a message on May 27, 2021:
To my family; Your mom has gone home to rest. She led a wonderful life, not without pain or sorrow but even in that Tutt did well. She was our only aunt on the Chaney side and and because my mom had no sisters , she was our only aunt. We loved her as much as she loved us. No matter where we traveled, failed or succeeded, she was always there. Some way she always knew! Your mom was an Encourager and every niece and nephew knew. Clarice you are in peace now, no pain, no restraints and always at your best. I thank God for allowing me to talk with you this year , right through the covid19, you prayed for me and pressed me on. I'll miss you. We'll all miss your mom so much. The service was so elegant and beautiful , suitable for the legacy of love she left behind. Always love you aunt Tutt.
