Claude Bechtel

Age 60 joined his father on Wednesday, January 26, 2011. He passed away peacefully at his home and was surrounded by family. Beloved husband of Kathryn (Cerniglia). Loving son of Barbara Bechtel. Proud father of Michael (Jamie) Bechtel, Tammy (Dave) Bechtel and Therese (Jim) Bechtel-Storti as well as his beloved dogs Foster and Lily. Grandfather of Nicholas, Cory & Sidney. Nephew of William (Nancy) Verville. Dear son-in-law of Ignatius (Claudia) Cerniglia. Best friend of Rick Hawkinson. Also survived by a host of family and friends.Visitation in the Funeral Home Sunday, January 30, 4:00-7:00 PM. Vigil at 7:00 PM. Additional visitation at the Funeral Home, Monday, from 9:30-10:30 AM. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, January 31, 11:00 AM at ST. CATHERINE OF ALEXANDRIA CATHOLIC CHURCH, 8661 N. 76th Place, Milwaukee. Interment to follow in St. Catherine of Alexandria Cemetery.Mike or "Owl" as many of as friends knew him, enjoyed anytime spent outdoors, especially on Clark Lake in Door County. He was an avid fisherman and loved time spent with family and friends. He was a former employee of Oxman Meat Company and Milwaukee County.
