Collette R Shebesta

July 20, 1928 - September 26, 2021

Collette R Shebesta (nee Ruehle), age 93, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2021, with her family by her side. Caring mother of Renee (Tom) Mihal, Denise (the late Doug) Stark, and Lane (Kristin) Shebesta. Further survived by 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; cousin, Marcia (John) Lenser; and nephew, Michael Duecker.

Preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Harvey Shebesta; and by her sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Norman Duecker.

Collette’s mother, Alfa Ruehle, started the Alfa Flower Shop in the mid-1940s, and many family members and friends have worked there throughout the years and still do.

According to Collette’s wishes, there will be no services.

Our deepest appreciation to Pewaukee’s “Visiting Angels” and Waukesha’s “ProHealth Home Care and Hospice” for all of the loving attention and care that each of their many caregivers provided Collette during her times of need.  Each of said organization’s caregivers is truly an “angel”!
