Constance Janis entered into Eternal Life on October 23, 2022 two weeks shy of her 98th birthday. Born in Milwaukee on November 8, 1924, beloved daughter of George and Rina Psimaras. Married to George Janis until his death in 1993. Survived by beloved children Judith Janis (Charlie Hensler), Langley, WA, Kathryn Jacobi, New Berlin, WI, Susan White (Bruce), Brookfield, WI, and Michael Janis, Rocklin, CA. Yia Yia and Lalla to her beloved grandchildren, Julia Sterbin (Frank), Ryan Jacobi (Sarah Leabig), Phil Jacobi, Emily Feldmann (Tom), Allison White (Aaron Ames), Zoe Hensler (Drew Whitenack), Amelia Hensler, Cameron, Austin and Calli Janis (Max Graydon); great-grandmother to Ava and Bennett Sterbin, Jack Feldmann, Sam Leabig and Addison Graydon. Predeceased by her beloved husband George, dear son-in-law Roger Jacobi and brother John Simaras. Survived by other family and friends including her loving cousin Mary Kachoyeanos and dear friend Shirley Napgezek.
Connie was a kind and generous mom, grandmother and friend who will be missed by many. She was active in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, as well as a member of St. Nicholas Antiochan Church. Member of Annunciation Philoptochos Society, long time Holiday Folkfair volunteer, former Wauwatosa Curling Club member and member of the Currie Park Garden Club. Connie graduated from Marquette University with a degree in Journalism. She later obtained her teaching degree and taught elementary school for many years.

Additional Visitation at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 9400 West Congress Street, Wauwatosa, Saturday October 29, 2022, 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM, with a Funeral Service at 10:00 AM. Rev. Dr. Ciprian Sas will be officiating. Burial to follow at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
