Dan was such great guy. I can distinctly remember being enormously pregnant with my first child and having one of my patients go into a dysrhythmia. I was still fresh off of orientation at that point and terrified. Dan ran right into my patient’s room with me and went through every intervention he could to help them convert while I called the doctor and released orders. He was calm and an absolute pro. He didn’t leave my or the patient’s side until everything was resolved. Afterwards he was all smiles and jokes, which was SO typical. Dan really loved his family. He would absolutely glow whenever he talked about his daughters. He was so proud of them and would gush over their accomplishments if given the opportunity. And about Lori? He would always say how lucky he was to have married his best friend. He would tell anyone who would listen how hot his wife was! It was precious because from my understanding they had been together a really long time and he was still entirely head over heels. I am so sorry to hear that Dan passed away. He was a genuinely kind and compassionate man. I truly hope his family find comfort in knowing that he loved them so very much, and that he was completely content in the love they gave to him.

I was shocked and sad to read that Dan had passed. I remember the good old days when Betty and Ken moved in across the street on Elmwood in M F with all of their boys. We became such good friends. Haven’t been in contact since Betty passed, but I have good memories of the whole family.

My heart goes to the family during this time. I will always remember having the Barbeau's living next door, paying football or riding our bikes all over the Falls (well almost all over).
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Dan was a dear friend and wonderful nurse. His smile and humor always made for an enjoyable day at work and it was evident how much he adored his family, especially Lori and their girls. Sending you all so much love. He will truly be missed.

I worked with Dan on 6LM and 10S at St. Lukes, most of my career as a RN. He was part of my work family. I often spoke at the gym with him recently , it was so clear how much he loved his family. He always got a big smile on his face catching me up on the girls. I will miss him. Prayers to your family.
