Died May 18, 2016, at the age of 31. David graduated from Wauwatosa East High School in 2003. He excelled in music and studied in New York and Chicago, playing his alto sax along with some of our jazz greats. David had a passion for music. It was a joy to watch him share his talent. We have no doubt that David is jazzing things up with the angels.
We will never forget his great smile and loving heart. Peace, love, and swing, son.
David is survived by his loving mother, Judith "Jodi" Velleman of Wauwatosa; loving father, Barry Velleman of Massachusetts; grandmother "Mops"; aunts; uncles; cousins; and best friends, Andrew, John, Max, and Peter. David gave the gift of life. Memorials in David's name may be made to the charity of your choice.
