Laack, David M. passed away unexpectedly July 11, 2022 at the age of 67. Beloved son of James E. and Betty J. (nee Tupper) Laack. Devoted husband of Judith R. (nee Weidensee) Laack and father of Rose E. Laack. Loved brother of Daniel (Susan) Laack and Mark (Deb) Laack. Cherished uncle of Samantha (Justin) Reuter, Zachary Laack, Geraldine (Glen) Dyers, Ricky (JoLynne McNeil) Karaba, Jessica (Matthew) Anderson and Eric (Melissa) Swinford.

David was a long-time member of the local bands “Piece of Cake” and “Oh Yeah” as an extremely talented guitarist and singer. His great musical ability entertained many in the UCC family as he was a member for many years of St. Mark and Zion UCCs. He used his talent for sewing as an industrial sewing fabricator at “Fountain of Youth for Boats.” He will be greatly missed by so many.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 20th at 11:00 AM, until the time of service at 1:00 PM at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin. Funeral procession to follow to Highland Memorial Park.

I am praying for peace and comfort in this time of loss. I remember Dave having more energy than most of us at the time. He was the only guitarist I knew who could take a song meant for a totally different instrument and make it work for guitar. I treasurer the memories of playing along side him. I am saddened to hear of his passing.
