I spoke to Dave on Jan 29 as we were planning the Happy Days reservations for this year. Dave told me that he (wouldn't be fishing his year) and then talked about his health status. I am so glad that we got to talk about the great memories that he made and we have about being at Pleasant Lake . I told .him he'll still be fishing and to give himself peace as you watch the sun setting over the lake. We will all miss you-til we meet again. From all of us at Happy Days Pleasant Lake

It was always a treat to visit with Dave. Recently it had been at other folks funerals. Mostly at the rc flying field. Dave was a kind and generous person. The world will be a little dimmer without him. My condolences to his family, friends and his partner. Shalom.

Our deepest sympathies for all family members especially Patti, Ryan, Erich and Katy. And especially to Joe who took his hand and gently said. “ Come on Dad, it’s time to go”. And so he went to be at peace with his son.
