Dawn M. Klauer

Born to life Sept. 15, 1970, and born to eternal life Dec. 20, 2021, at the age of 51. Dawn (nee Caira) was a wonderful mother, wife, daughter, sister and aunt.

Beloved wife of Rick, and dear mother to Courtney and Camden. She has now joined her father Chuck Sr. and brother Johnny in Heaven. She is survived by her mother Ellie, brother Chuck, and sister Denise.

Wonderful aunt to Devin, Austin (Angelina), Lexi, Jessica, Justin, Seth (Lynette), Chase (Samantha), Dalton (Nicole), Dakota (Tiffany), Cheyenne, Tammi and Kimmi, as well as great aunt to Kal-El, Jay, Logan, Layla, Tommy, Valkyrie, Ariah, Cayden, Ashton, Liam, Aubs, Kenzie, and Harlow.

Dawn was a proud graduate of Wisconsin Lutheran High School where she was a cheerleader and helped with the wrestling team. She met Rick at JCPenney Outlet Store where she was a Hall of Fame head cashier. They were married Aug. 7, 1999, for 22 years.

Dawn also was lunch lady for 9 years at St. John’s Lutheran school in Lannon, where she was renowned for her 5-star rated bosco sticks and pizza. She also later worked at Sussex Piggly Wiggly and Central Collections in Brookfield.

Dawn would do anything for her beautiful daughter and son and her love in life was spending time with her incredibly passionate (and loud) Italian family and their wonderful parties and delicious meals. She also loved movies, vacations, volunteering at St. John’s, Wisconsin Lutheran and Vacation Bible School, Peanut M&Ms and the Hallmark Channel. The only thing bigger than her beautiful smile and laugh was the heart for her family. We love you, and miss you, Dawny.
