Dayonne, it is with a heavy heart to write this. I know we must trust in the lord with all of our hearts, and not lean on our own understanding but the selfish me is sitting here crying for many reasons ! You were like a brother, a down to earth person to all and man oh mannnnn I’m gone simply miss seeing you, seeing your name appear on a social media post etc: The unselfish part of me , will say, that with all the heartache and pain we are all enduring behind your passing, GOD IS STILL IN CONTROL, GOD IS STILL GOD, and WE THANK HIM FOR THE BORROWED TIME HE GRANTED US WITH. You’re going to be missed and never forgotten! Get your rest Red. Love always, Toya!!

This a tough one here! I know my Lord doesn't make any mistakes BUT this one throws me. Real Good dude with good intentions. Less than 2 months ago we both was just sitting back talking about time. Shaking our heads how time doesn't wait for no one, and these children growing up on us. Lord Heavenly Father hold him close and never let go of his hand. May the comforts of Heaven envelope him for an eternity. Rest Easy Boss, LUV.
Rob Brox left a message on September 5, 2023:
I’ve known Dayonne since the 6th grade meeting him at Roosevelt Middle School of The Arts. This is where he started off playing the clarinet. After a while, he transferred to the horns section and played the trumpet. If my memory serves me correctly he also played the saxophone before our middle school years were over. He was always a fly guy. He always had the newest clothes, the newest Jordan’s and he always was a clean cut Dude. Dayonne carried his fly demeanor into his adulthood with his Fleet of Fly cars. We went our separate ways throughout high school and college and navigating through this world finding our way through society. As our families grew over the years we would run into each other and play catch-up for a few minutes dap each other up and wait till the next time we bump into each other again. Fast forward to summer 2019 before Covid-19 we ran into each other at the Sherman Phoenix while my wife and I were vending our Lavender Lemonade. We caught up again like no time had passed in between and he wound up buying a couple gallons and ordered like 10gallons of Alkaline water to be delivered. My brother Dayonne was consistent and ordered from us for the last 4 years. He truly believed and supported our business and I will forever be grateful for his positive attitude and willingness to listen to some of our business pitfalls & frustrations with city inspectors while opening our storefront marketplace. Nonetheless, we all have an empty space in our hearts but, my Brother is now with our Ancestors watching and blessing our continued progress. We’re praying for all of Dayonne’s children, family and friends dealing with such huge loss. On behave of The Brox Family and The Entire Fit4YouMKENation, we are wishing you a safe journey to be with our Ancestors. You will have your Platinum Member Jersey hung in the rafters of our Marketplace! You will always be remembered King! 🫡👑 ~May God be pleased with your work here on Earth~ Amen & Ase’ 🙏🏾🥲

I honestly don’t know what to say.. I still can’t believe that you’re gone. I want it to be a bad dream or a nightmare; cause you left wayyy to soon. It’s still a lot of things you haven’t seen me accomplish yet, and you being there no more is going to hurt even more. Just know you will be honored and never forgotten. A King at heart and a god in spirit. REST IN POWER‼️ LOVE YOU FOREVER AND ALWAYS ‼️ your Jr.💜💜💜
