Dennis A. Peterke

Dennis A. Peterke, 73, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away on May 19, 2022. Beloved husband of Jane Dornuf-Peterke. Devoted father of Daniel Peterke and Denise (Tom) Black. Loving grandfather of Jasmine, Autumn and Hayden. Caring brother of Wayne (Gladys) Peterke, Marvin (Deborah) Peterke, Gary (Pamela) Peterke, Larry (late Theresa) Peterke and Diane (Thomas) Champeau. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents Claude and Alma (nee Haasch) Peterke and his brother Robert Peterke.

Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Dennis ran and operated his own hauling business, Denny’s 4 Ds, for over thirty years.

Fishing in the gulf and working out in the yard were some of his favorite pastimes. Down in Florida for the past fifteen Christmases, Denny would play Santa and hand out candy canes to children. He was selfless, generous and always ready to help anyone in need. He will be missed by all.

Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 9000 West Capitol Drive, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Friday, May 27, 2022, from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Funeral service at Krause Funeral Home, 9000 West Capitol Drive, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 11:00 AM.
