03/24/2020 Such a sad day... Earlier I posted my cousins 65th birthday would have been today but he passed away unexpectedly two months ago. He has lovingly cared for his mom these last years as she developed dementia/Alzheimer's and he was her sole caregiver. I received a phone call this morning that my dear "Auntie Dodo" (Dolores, I couldn't pronounce her name when I was little and I still call her that to this day) passed away today on her son's 65th birthday. She has always been such a very special part of my life. Growing up she lived downstairs from us with my grandma & grandpa until she married. She was like a big sister, taught me how to drive, took me to take my driver's test, sold me my first car ( a whole $25), was my made of honor, and was my son Steve's baptismal sponsor. She would have turned 90 on August 11th but our father in heaven decided it was time to take her to her heavenly home. I will miss my Auntie Dodo dearly, her sweet smile, her warm, kind, loving heart. I will love her forever and always and will treasure all the happy memories we had together and what a special part of our family she was. Rest in peace my dearest Auntie Dodo, you will be greatly missed... . Dear Mark, We were so sad when you left us so suddenly but your Mom decided she wanted to be with you to celebrate your 65th birthday in your new heavenly home. We will always love and treasure you both and all of the happy family memories we shared.... Until we meet again, Cousin, Nancy Sailer
