Passed away Sunday evening, Sept 25, 2016 at the home of his nephew Edward Sikora in Westfield, Indiana. Donald was born Feb 6, 1930 in Iron Mountain, son of the late Edward and Anna (Martinelli) Brentare. He graduated from Iron Mountain High School with the class of 1949. He moved to Milwaukee and worked for the Joseph Schlitz Brewing Company for 30 years, retiring when the brewery closed in 1981. He became a caregiver to his parents, other family, friends and neighbors .He was a member of Blessed Savior Catholic Church and the Veneta Society. He loved gardening and yard work, following Milwaukee baseball, opera, Friday nights at “The Club”, his dogs Punkin and Gus, traveling and most of all, spending time with family. He was preceeded in death by his parents, his sisters and brothers in law Rena (Maurice) Olson and Joyce (Leonard) Sikora. He is survived by nieces and nephews Kristine (Gary) Gorsalitz of Harvey, Mi, Paul (Charlene) Sikora of Crystal Falls, MI, Fr. Eric Olson of Escanaba, MI, Jon (Peggy) Sikora of Kalamazoo, MI and Edward (Lori) Sikora of Westfield, IN.
