Donald David Spenner, 79, of Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin passed away on November 6, 2022. Beloved husband of Marion Spenner, loving father of Michael Spenner and Scott (Laura) Spenner, caring grandfather of Jacob and Elizabeth. He is also survived by his three sisters and other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents Eugene and Mary (Rothermel) Spenner.
Don served his country in the Army reserves for 7 years and reached the rank of Staff Sergeant.
Don worked for the State of Wisconsin for over 30 years. He was past president of the Right of Way Association for the State of Wisconsin. Don enjoyed golfing, hunting, and watching Brewer, Bucks, and Packer games. As past president and one of the founders of the Autistic Society of Southeastern Wisconsin, he advocated for parents of special needs children. Don was very involved with Wauwatosa Special Olympics and coached various teams for over 40 years. He was selfless, generous, and tender hearted; treating everyone he met with kindness. He will be dearly missed.
Gathering at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, from 3:00 PM – 4:45 PM. Memorial Service to follow at 5:00 PM.
