Donald P. Klick’s life could be defined as family-focused.  Every choice and decision he made was always with his family in mind. Dear Therese, Damon, Brian, Adam & Families, I remember Don as an other-centered person. Many years ago, during the Winter,I ran my car into the ditch across the street from your Rockford home on Dellview. Don came out and helped me get out of that predicament. As the very heartfelt obituary reads, he all about helping others. You all have warm and wonderful memories to help you through this time. Feel my hugs!

We are heartbroken for your loss and for our loss as well! We love you Thres and will be with you today in spirit and virtually. Please extend our deepest sorrow to all of your family as well. Don was an extraordinary man, the kindest man we will ever know and we were so lucky to be able to call him our friend.

We are so sorry for your loss, our thoughts are with your family at this tough time. I felt really fortunate to be able to reconnect with Don in the last few years. He was kind enough to take me out to dinner several times when he was in DC for work. Laura and I were also so grateful that Don and Thres were able to attend our wedding as well last year. Sending love to the Klick family.

So sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure to get to know Don while we were colleagues at DRS. We traveled quite a bit together and shared a lot of laughs over drinks and dinner while on the road. He enjoyed touring me around Milwaukee when I was in town and such a zest for life. He talked fondly of his family often and was very proud of his sons and his grandchildren. I will miss "Papa Tahoe" and am blessed to have had the opportunity to get to know him and share stories and laughs. Rest in peace my friend.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

I am so sorry to hear about Don’s passing. I have had the pleasure of working with Don since the beginning of 2020. He was an indispensable member of our team and the quintessential professional and gentleman; a truly great guy. It’s hard to believe he’s gone. He will be sadly missed. Please accept my heartfelt condolences. May he rest in peace.

I could not believe that Don is no longer with us. I remember vividly that last time we spoke over the phone was on Oct. 1, 2020. After our program review with the US Navy in the morning of Oct. 1, 2020, Don called me in the afternoon. We chatted about one hour discussing an energy storage networking technical problem. After that I texted Don a couple of times, but never got a reply until I heard from Steve the unbelievable and unbearable news. Don has been a great colleague since Jan 2020, working with us on an important project proposal for the US Navy. He contributed his knowledge and experience to complement us for a high quality proposal. We were counting on him to be part of the team in executing the program should we win. Don will be missed greatly. Rest in Peace, Don! We will carry on with his legacy and finish the mission: delivering for our customer - the US Navy.

I am sorry to hear of his passing. Don was a good colleague and a friendly confidant to me during our shared time at DRS. I recall the good dinners and sharp-witted conversation as if they were only yesterday, even though it has been a while. I was missing those times before I heard of this, so now I miss them all the more. His smile and kind nature helped keep things light at work. The world could use more guys like Don. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family, especially his wife, of whom he spoke highly.
