Donald L. Kraft

Donald “Don” L. Kraft entered into Eternal Glory surrounded by family on December 15, 2021 at the age of 88. Loving husband of Helen (nee Baumgartner), the love of his life, for 68 years. Beloved father of Katherine (Richard) Widowski and Dan Kraft. Proud grandpa of Jesse Kraft, Chad Kraft, Jonathan (Lisa) Widowski, Amy (Micah) Hege, Rachel (Nate) Sensenig, Matthew Widowski (Mandy Behm), Hannah (Marc) Schrock, Luke Widowski, and Philip Widowski (fiancé Krissy Wilkes). Great-grandpa of 19 loved great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Mary Ann Plevak, 5 sisters-in-law, and 1 brother-in-law. Don will also be missed by many other family and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents Kay (“Charlie”) Allen and Matthias Kraft.

Donald was a U.S. Navy veteran and a long-time employee for the City of Wauwatosa for 33 years. He was also a cab owner for many years. Don, along with his wife, were members of the Wisconsin Polka Boosters where they travelled many places with their friends. Don is also a member of Mother of Perpetual Help (formerly IHM). It is evident that Don will be sorely missed by his family, especially his adoring grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Mother of Perpetual Help, 2322 South 106th Street, West Allis, Wisconsin from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 12:00 PM. Entombment Saint Adalbert Cemetery.
