Passed away peacefully at his home with family by his side on Sunday, March 26, 2017.  Age 83.  Preceded in death by infant son, Scott; his parents, Albert and Hazel Roenspies; and his brother, Richard.  He is survived by his wife, Erna of 60 years, his children and grandchildren:  Cheryl Webster and children, Ashley and Stephanie Webster;  Laura (John) Nook and children, Chris, Nick and Cameron Nook;  Kevin (Kim) Roenspies and children, Scott and Natalie; and Michelle (Ken) Mueller and children, Miranda and Justin.

Visitation Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Covenant Lutheran Church, 8121 West Hope Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin from 4:00 PM until time of Service at 7:00 PM.  The family wishes to thank Horizon Hospice for all their help.

Don worked as a meat cutter for his dad, Albert at Red Bell Market for 15 years and then retired from Sentry Foods in 1995.  His hobbies included fishing, golfing, hunting, gardening and woodworking.
