I joined the Red Hat Group "Better Red Than Dead" in 2011 and Donna was one of the nicest and sweetest people I knew. We have wonderful ladies in our group, but Donna was a great friend and person to all of us. We will all miss her very much. Dorian Templin.

Dear familly, Ron & I have such fond memories of our early and dear friendship with both Ed & Donna. Ron's connection to Ed went back to family ties between his parents & Ed's. We grew close in the early days of our marriages, living in neighboring apartments in Wauwatosa,. Your mom loved you all so much. I remember her telling me how she bravely sent you off to kindergarten, Sue, then closed the door and cried! We have fond memories of watching you all grow up, enjoying swimming outings & visits with your family, Your mom was truly full of life and so invested in her family. Her smile lit up her whole face! We cannot physically be with you at her celebration of life, but hope to "stream" in. Ron & Joanne Gramins

Bruce and I wish Donna's family our thoughts and prayers at loosing Donna. Donna was a center of our groups get togethers. Her and Lou were the head of our Vagabond breakfast table every Sat for years. We traveled, partied, and enjoyed all our time in Florida with Donna. Many great memories for a great mom, grandma, and friend to many. Shar and Bruce

My deepest sympathy to the entire family. I met Donna and her friend, Lou, only once, but I feel as though I knew her because of my friendships with other members of her extended family: Sharon and Phil Wolfsohn, Darlene Ruedi, and Mark Salbeck. A memorial will be sent to the Hawaiian organization listed. My late husband and I loved Hawaii too.

Back in the 80s when Mike K. and Tom Orner were hanging out together doing a lot of "fun" activities & trying to stay out of trouble, Donna & I compared notes many times. Our sons & some of their friends treated us moms to lunch at Chumleys one noon hour where we visitedabout our sons & exchanged recipes over a couple beers & burgers. Donna was an outgoing, fun friend. Ann Orner

Our deepest sympathies to the entire Kuehl family on Donna's passing. We've been neighbors for 31 years and always marveled at the gatherings at the holidays and the decorations at Christmas. We loved watching the Red Hat Ladies parade in and out when Donna hosted them. She always had a smile and a kind word to say. God bless her and may she rest in peace. Pat and Tom Kelley

Susan Elizabeth Nash left a message on April 20, 2022:
How do I pay tribute to Donna after 49 years of being her next-door neighbor and friend? I really don’t know how except by mentioning the Kuehl kids. The 6 Kuehl kids grew up with our 2 kids. Beth and David Kuehl being in the same year in school as our kids. I remember sunny days spent in the Kuehl backyard pool with everyone diving for “rings”, making whirlpools, spilling juice & snacks into the water, and getting sunburned. I see Mike and David playing baseball games in our backyard with our boys. Sometimes they would fight after a “bad” call by the umpire. There's David sitting on our stoop eating an entire bowl of just-picked raspberries. I remember us watching fireworks at Lakefront with Kuehl’s and giving Sue a ride home afterwards, and later Sue telling Donna that Jim walked too fast back to the car! Jeff was the “fun”babysitter who secretly shot off bottle rockets with our kids on our front porch. Jeff loved chocolate mint ice cream. Later on as the years passed, and the kids moved on with their lives, I would sit at the Kuehl table visiting with Donna. I would give the “secret knock”at the patio door and just walk right in. We talked about everything even what we were making for dinner. We laughed. Always so much laughter. I will miss that the most. Goodbye Donna. I love you and I will miss you forever. Susan & Jim Nash
