Donna lived a full and vibrant life, focused on family, friends and enjoying life to its fullest. She and her husband Ed raised 6 children and always provided a loving home filled with laughter and many wonderful memories.
Camping was a family favorite at Hartman Creek State Park in Waupaca. These vacations were filled with fishing, swimming, canoeing, making new friends and roasting marshmallows. This cherished tradition has since been passed onto the next generation.
While family time was precious, so was the time that Donna and Ed shared together. Hawaii was their favorite place to go to be alone together. They enjoyed Whale Watching, the Hawaiian leis and fun in the sun. When they were not going to Hawaii, they enjoyed cruises and other vacations when they could.
Donna enjoyed the beauty of her flower gardens, her outdoor decorations and sunny summer weather. She loved her holidays especially Christmas. Every room was decorated with lights and garlands. She adorned 13 Christmas trees and set up an extensive village that she enjoyed for months before and after the holiday.
Donna had so many friends and varied interests, including the Red Hat Society. Dressing up in fancy red hats and going on excursions with her circle of friends was very important to her. Later in life, Donna was a part of the Vagabonds where she met Lou. The two of them enjoyed traveling and spending time with friends and they especially loved snow birding for months in Florida.
More than anything, Donna loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was affectionately referred to as Nana Honey by some of the great-grandkids. She loved them coming over to go swimming, have sleepovers and she always enjoyed their hugs!
Donna enjoyed life to its fullest. She was love by so many and will be missed by all who knew her.
