Plant a tree in memory of Duane
An environmentally friendly option.
Jason Bond left a message on August 8, 2022:
I found this obit by accident while search for another Obit and was surprised to learn of Duane's passing. Duane was a familiar fixture at our old EATON/COOPER/RTE Pewaukee plant for many years ever since I started in 1985. I can't remember what year he retired but he was missed. May the Lord Jesus Christ be with the Bewer family at this time and forevermore. Jason Bond, Milwaukee, WI.
Jim Andree left a message on August 7, 2022:
Childhood memories with Duane abound. Many of them have to do with our horses. If he told you about the time he almost got trampled, it is true. And there are memories of going to Duplainville Grade School and Waukesha High School (both Central and South campuses). When Mr. O. E.Born, our Ag teacher said he could dissect a cow's stomach while drinking a milkshake, we just had to put him to the test. Not everything we did was mischievous. As young adults, we saw our Grade School teacher, Mrs. Miller, at my Grandfather's (Duane's Uncle Otto) funeral. I asked her if she was surprised that both Duane and I have college degrees. She said, “Not at all. I could tell by how you helped other kids understand that you could attend college.” I was shocked! I'm glad we got together in the last few years. I shall miss you also!
