Edward proudly served his country in the Army Air Force during WWII. He was the past Commander (1963) of the Louis Travis Post #14, AMVETS State Commander (1958-59), 4th National District Commander (1960), AMVETS Department Finance Officer (1959-80), President of Wisconsin Veterans Council (1961), 2nd District Commander of Wisconsin AMVETS (1954-56), and a past Board of Director of the Wisconsin War Memorial. He was a long standing member with the I.B.E.W. #494. Visitation at the Funeral Home Tuesday, June 9, 2009, 4-7PM. Funeral Service Wednesday, June 10, 2009, 10:30AM with additional visitation from 9:30 AM until the time of Service at the Funeral Home. Interment Arlington Park. Edward loved his wife, family and country, and will be dearly missed. The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to Dr. Timothy Allen, and to the staff at Linden Grove, New Berlin (especially Patricia Boyle, R.N. and Magic), for their special care of Ed.
