Seemed to have missed that he had a older sister. What about his 3 nephews and niece? He also has a nephew that passed away. I never stopped loving you my chipmunk cheek brother. I love you to the moon and around the world.

I only knew Elijah for a little over a year, but the mark he made on all of us here at Harbor Freight was indelible. He was a great person, kind, soft spoken, but his work ethic was unsurpassed. In his time here he learned so much, and we came to see him as a crucial vital member of our family. Despite his struggles he was filled with an incredible amount of light, which always shone through despite what the day offered. I will always remember him listening to his podcasts in the morning while we set planograms, laughing as some insight or story was retold to comic effect. I also always remember watching him grow in confidence as he learned each new process -- he always strove to learn and grow. My deepest condolences are with his family and friends at this time. He will be missed greatly by all of us here at Harbor Freight...we still cannot believe he left us so soon. His care for others and dedication made him an example to look up to. “Long ago I yearned to be a hero without knowing, in truth, what a hero was. Now, perhaps, I understand it a little better. A grower of turnips or a shaper of clay, a Commot farmer or a king--every man is a hero if he strives more for others than for himself alone. Once you told me that the seeking counts more than the finding. So, too, must the striving count more than the gain.”--Lloyd Alexander

Elijah was a junior when I was a freshman at Pius. We were in the same home room (TAC), and I always felt the most comfortable around him. He was the nicest person who was always willing to talk to you, always trying to make you feel good. He was one of the people who helped break me out of my personal shell and I will always think of him. Just heart broken to hear about his passing.

Elijah was one of my first friends coming into Pius. He was one of the nicest kids and even though he seemed quiet, you could always talk to him. He was always kind to everyone and will be missed greatly. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Some of my favorite memories in high school were with Elijah in wrestling. Whether it was at practice or long 8 hour meets, Elijah always found a way to make me laugh and make the time go by faster. He also made many of my classes more fun throughout my high school years. If it wasn’t for Elijah I don’t think I would have made it through algebra! He will be greatly missed and my dearest condolences to family. RIP to a great man.
