(nee Kotecki) Died peacefully on Thursday, March 5, 2020.  Age 95.  Loving wife for 62 years to the late Tunis B. Lathrop (Tony). Survived by her children Christine Horgen, Barbara Trepczyk, and William (Lori) Lathrop. Further survived by her grandchildren Brant (Pam) Horgen, Bethany (Ronald) George, Matt (Jillan) Trepczyk, Angela (Wayne) Grant, Daniel (Kim) Lathrop; great-grandchildren Sophia and Sydnee George, Brittany Gassett, Connor, Skye, and Riley Horgen, Ethan and Isabelle Lathrop, Michelle Cira, Caleb and Abigail Grant, Ryan and Riley Trepczyk, and Zoee Pena; great-great-grandchild Charlee George; nieces and nephews Lloyd (Carol) Lathrop, Iris Lathrop, Cathy (Gary) Rich, Joyce (John) Stolarozyk, Lauren Patterson, Clarie (David) Moesler, Eugene (Aileen) Lathrop, Victoria Lynn Pepper; and cousins Rosemary Krueger and Michael (Arlene) Okus.

Visitation at Blessed Savior Catholic Church, 8545 West Villard Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Wednesday, March 11th, 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM. Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.

Some of my most treasured memories as a child are from being up north with Grandma and Grandpa. Waking up to Grandma telling us about the blue jay's she's seen that morning, how many deer have been by to eat at the feeder, and how many games of solitaire were won (with the number of "cheats") was something I looked forward to every time I visited! Walks in the woods were always a precursor to the countless campfires and Grandma always made sure we had plenty of marshmallows for roasting! She taught us to appreciate birds and deer and that taking moments to enjoy the peacefulness of the forest was priceless. You will be missed by many, Grandma, but we will always remember you.
